Dr. Tammy Hughes, a seasoned leader in the field of social services, brings her passion and expertise to the Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO) as the Chief Programming Officer. With a PhD in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Social Work, Dr. Hughes also brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her certification as a Certified Trainer in Mental Health First Aid further enhances her ability to ensure effective programming which supports the unique needs of veterans and their families.
Dr. Hughes has a proven track record of conceptualizing and implementing innovative initiatives that address the challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Her data-driven approach to program development ensures that programs are both effective and responsive to the needs of the community. Dr. Hughes is skilled at program evaluation and assessment to make necessary adjustments toward optimal outcomes.
